Sam Morjaria brings over 16 years of experience to Park North Physical Therapy in Harlem. Sam graduated from the University of Vermont in 1998 with a degree in Physical Therapy. He started his career at Beth Israel Hospital in outpatient sports medicine treating professional athletes, dancers, and stuntmen. His philosophy on physical healing is to treat the body as a whole instead of treating the point of pain and/or dysfunction. Sam uses hands-on therapy to relieve pain and restore normal movement to the body. He has advanced training in myofascial release, running biomechanics, Maitland mobilization, strength and conditioning, and is certified in Active Release Technique. Sam is also a certfied golf fitness instructor by the Titleist Performance Institute.
Alexandra Rosenfeld, a physical therapist at Park North, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University. She has treated a wide range of patients, ranging from adolescents to the elderly population, with a myriad of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Alexandra believes in treating an individual as a whole being during therapy, by focusing on their movement patterns and creating individualized treatment plans for all her patients in order to achieve their specific goals.
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Alexandra attended Syracuse University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology prior to attending Columbia University. Alexandra enjoys staying active, and does so by playing basketball and volleyball and participating in various races in New York City.
